Charity Bowls Day

On Friday 3rd May, staff representatives from Wenty Leagues braved the elements to participate in a Charity Bowls Day for Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia, held at Club Merrylands Bowling Group. The team managed to get a few ends in before the rain set in for the day.

With bowls unable to be played, the teams retreated indoors for Bingo! After a few games, one of which our staff won, a delicious 2 course meal was enjoyed. Raffles were drawn, fundraising balloons were popped, and live auctions were completed, all to raise money for an amazing cause.

In spite of the weather, it was a wonderful event raising $20,000 for Starlight Children’s Foundation Australia. Thank you to Club Merrylands Bowling Group for hosting the event.
