Rich Person Poor Person
by Rebecca Gauci | May 13,2024On Friday 31st May, staff and management attended Parramatta Mission‘s 2nd Annual Rich Person Poor Person Dinner, held at Parramatta Mission dining hall.
The evening gave the guests the opportunity to walk in the shoes of someone less fortunate, whilst also highlighting homelessness is not always a choice.
On the evening, guests were asked to select a ball, with the colour of the ball determining if they were ‘rich’ (Gold Ball) or ‘poor’ (White Ball).
Only 15 guests received a gold ball with the remainder of guests receiving a white ball. The ‘rich’ dined on a fine dining 3 course meal, while the ‘poor’ were given a humble one course meal of pumpkin soup and a bread roll.
Wenty Leagues were proud to once again, be the diamond sponsor for this event and to contribute to the event by donating table settings for the ‘rich’ tables, as well as meals for all guests, with our Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef in attendance to prepare and cook all meals.
Congratulations to Davyn de Bruyn and your team for putting on a wonderful event to bring understanding, awareness and much needed funds to Parramatta Mission.
