This is personally important to our Board, leadership team and myself, and is consistent with the vision, and values of our organisation – A Home Away From Home.
To do this, we must have a venue free from harassment, discrimination, inappropriate, and rude behaviour, where gender equality, inclusion and diversity are promoted and embedded.
We are committed to continuously improving our culture and addressing inappropriate
behaviours immediately and reasonably.
Our employees are expected to adhere to and promote our extensive workplace policies.
Our members and guests are expected tc adhere to our terms and conditions, the Club
Constitution, by-laws, and this statement. This commitment forms part of the agreement of membership. Any breach of Club policy may result in membership cancellation and/or
refusal of entry.
Inappropriate behaviours can include any unwelcome sexual behaviour that has the effect of offending, intimidating, or humiliating a reasonable person. It includes jokes of a sexual nature, even if there is no intent to cause offence. In the past, such behaviours were widely tolerated in the community and workplaces. Although tolerated, such behaviours were neither legal nor acceptable. Regardless of whether or notthere is an intent to cause offence, it is still inappropriate behaviour.
We need to be mindful of others’ feelings, and to be prepared to speak up, not only when we may be offended ourselves, but when we feel that someone else may be uncomfortable.
| believe that all of us know inherently what constitutes polite and appropriate conversation and behaviour. There needs to be a clear understanding that inappropriate behaviours will not be tolerated into the future.

CHILDREN AT WENTY
Wenty Leagues is a family friendly venue and we welcome children of all ages.
To ensure the comfort, safety and enjoyment of all patrons, the following policy has been adopted for Minors when they are on Club premises:
- Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times whilst on Club premises. “Responsible Adult”, in relation to a Minor, means an adult who is:
a) parent, step-parent or guardian of the Minor,
b) the Minor’s spouse or de facto partner, or
c) for the time being standing in as the parent of the Minor. - Minors are not allowed in the Wenty Cafe, Magpie Bar, TAB or the Gaming Floor area (even when accompanied by an adult).
- The exception to this is if they are travelling to the Starlight Room, in which case they must take the most direct route and must be closely accompanied by an adult.
- Minors will not be admitted onto Club premises after 9.00pm.
- Minors are not permitted on Club premises after 10.00pm.
- Minors may be permitted to remain on Club premises after 10.00pm in the following circumstances:
a) They are attending a private function.
b) They are dining in The Plaza in which case they must leave the Club as soon as they have finished dining.
c) Permission has been granted by the Duty Manager or Club Supervisor. - The accompanying responsible adult is to ensure that their Minor behaves in an appropriate manner when on Club premises and refrains from behaviour which is likely to cause discomfort or inconvenience to other patrons. Such behaviour includes, but is not limited to, loud squealing and running around unsupervised between tables.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in the Minor and their accompanying Responsible Adult being asked to leave the Club premises.
PROCESS FOR COMPANION CARDS
Companion tickets may be booked for entertainment at Wenty Leagues. The process to book is as follows:
– The request for a companion ticket will need to be emailed to
boxoffice@wentyleagues.com.au, accompanied by a copy of the companion card.
– If a ticket has already been purchased for the card holder, the following will also need to be presented:
• table and seat number or;
• confirmation number or;
• name of the person who the ticket is for.
– Any accessibility requirements should also be included in the request.
Please be aware of the below terms and conditions:
1. Companion Card will only be used when the cardholder requires the assistance of a
companion to attend the event.
2. One Companion Ticket, or admission, will be issued at no charge. This ticket will be exempt from all booking fees.
3. The Companion Card can be used to obtain a Companion Ticket for any entertainment on
offer. This will be subject to the usual admission availability and conditions.
4. The Companion Card can be used in conjunction with any recognised concession cards.
5. Cardholders should be seated or located physically close to their companions. Companions will remain close to cardholders to assist them as required. Cardholders with specific seating requirements will inform Wenty Leagues at the time of booking.
6. Only the person whose photograph and details appear on the Companion Card can use the card.
7. Companion Tickets cannot be used without the Companion Card cardholder being present.
8. Companion Card cardholders must inform Wenty Leagues of their requirement for a
Companion Ticket at the time they book or purchase their own ticket.
STARLIGHT TICKETED SHOWS TERMS & CONDITIONS
1. All ticket holders must comply with the Registered Clubs Act 1976 when gaining
entry into Wenty Leagues i.e. any patrons who are not a member of the Club must provide photo ID with address to enter as a temporary member or be signed in as a Guest of a Member.
2. Patrons must comply with all Club regulations including but not limited to Club Entry, Dress Regulations and Responsible Service of Alcohol. For more information please visit www.wentyleagues.com.au/our-club/policies
3. All shows are 18 years and over unless otherwise stated. Minors attempting to enter
a show advertised as 18 years and over will be refused entry and no refund will be
provided.
4. To gain entry into the showroom, every person must have a valid printed ticket or
eTicket with the QR code presented clearly to be scanned at the door.
5. To exit during showtime / intermission, tickets must be presented at the door to be
scanned out. Alternatively, pass outs may be issued.
6. Seats must remain in their allocated position and should not be moved away from
their position or moved into walkways. It is a requirement that walkways are kept clear at all times to ensure the safety of guests and staff, and to not negatively impact on guests viewing experience or accessibility.
7. Requests for refunds must be made in writing and emailed to boxoffice@wentyleagues.com.au up to 72 hours (3 days) prior to the show start time. After which time there will be no cash refunds however, transfer options may be available. Applicable only on a case-by-case basis. Cases for refunds will be addressed within 2 working days after the request is received.
8. Food and beverages not purchased within the Club are not permitted to be consumed on premises.
9. Performances may not be recorded. Copyright infringement may be liable.
10. Performances may change without notice due to unforeseen circumstances.
11. If show cannot proceed due to introduced government restrictions i.e. change in
COVID-19 restrictions, ticket holders will receive full refunds. There are NO CASH
REFUNDS available at the Reception Box office. Ticket holders will be contacted
within 24 hours to make arrangements.
BRINGING FOOD INTO WENTY LEAGUES CLUB
Wenty Leagues is one of the largest food and beverage operations in Western Sydney with 5 food outlets serving thousands of meals every year. We pride ourselves on providing a large range of high-quality, value for money selections to cater for all tastes and dietary requirements.
Accordingly, it is the policy of Wenty Leagues that no external food products are permitted to be brought onto the premises including water bottles for adults (Gentle Exercise participants will be allowed entry
with a water bottle).
By arrangement with the Duty Manager, allowance may be provided for the following food items to be brought onto the premises:
1. Milk or fruit-based products and formula for consumption by babies & toddlers.
2. Soft puréed baby food for consumption by babies & toddlers.
3. Special dietary requirements not met by our menu
4. Celebratory cakes including whole Birthday cakes, cupcakes, donuts etc. This does not include lollies, chips, grazing platters etc.

SERVICE OF ALCOHOL
Wenty Leagues promotes Responsible Service of Alcohol in the best interest of its members, guests, staff and the community.
Responsible serving of alcohol is vital for legal, health and community reasons. Our society is now less tolerant of the irresponsible use of alcohol that leads to drunkenness, drink driving, unacceptable behavior and underage drinking.
Wenty Leagues has adopted the following House Practices, which provide the framework for the Responsible Service of Alcohol and the prevention of intoxication:
- In order to prevent underage drinking, we will require acceptable Proof of Age to be provided when requested.
- Persons who are believed to be intoxicated will be Refused Admission to our premises.
- We will display and refer to our Intoxication Signs in order to support our responsible attitude and meet legislative requirements.
- Patrons in this establishment will be Denied Service and Required to Leave the Premises if they are considered to be intoxicated.
- We will not sell or supply liquor to an intoxicated person.
- We will not allow any indecent, violent or quarrelsome conduct on our premises.
- We will educate our staff and our patrons as part of our Duty of Care to ensure they understand the implications of and abide by our Responsible Service of Alcohol Practices.
- We will support and actively promote initiatives to minimise Drink Driving in order to safeguard the well-being of our patrons.
- Drinks commonly referred to as a ‘shot’, a ‘shooter’ or a ‘bomb will only be sold from the Clubs main bar “The Café’ and Starlight Bar and will specifically not be served or sold from any bar in a non-restricted or family area, such as Plaza Bar. The only other exception will be for patrons utilising private function rooms.
- The following drinks will not be sold or supplied after 11pm of each trading day:
a) Any drink (commonly referred to as a ‘shot’, a ‘shooter’ or a ‘bomb) that is designed to be consumed rapidly.
b) Any ready to drink (RTD) beverage with an alcohol content greater than 5%.
c) Any drink prepared on the premise that contains more than 30ml of spirit or liquor, other than a cocktail that contains spirit or liquor (or both) mixed with other ingredients and is not designed to be consumed rapidly. - All bars will use tempered glassware where possible to minimise risk of glass related injury.
- A “two alcoholic drink limit” will be applied to all customers after midnight for each trading day
- Cessation of alcohol service 30 minutes prior to close.
- 2.00 am lockout of patrons (non-members).
- Filtered drinking water is always free and available to all guests from all bar outlets whilst the club is open and trading.
- New members may only be signed up BEFORE the following times during the week
– Before 1.00am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
– Before 2.00am on Friday and Saturday
Wenty Leagues will initiate these practices by:
- Implementing, monitoring and modifying the House Practices on an on-going basis.
- Preventing under-age drinking by insisting on the production of acceptable documentation such as a current photo driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card as detailed in the Australian ID Checking Guide.
- Preventing intoxication by recognising the signs of intoxication and refusing to serve anyone to the point of intoxication. We will deny entry or service to anyone we believe is already intoxicated.
- Promoting the service of non-alcoholic beverages, low alcohol beers and food.
Our responsible serving practices aim to:
- Prevent under-age drinking.
- Prevent intoxication.
- Prevent violent or disruptive behaviour.
- Prevent drink driving.
DRESS REGULATIONS
Wenty Leagues is committed to providing its Members and visitors with a high standard of facilities and services.
The Club expects all members and visitors to dress in an appropriate manner at all times when attending any Club premises.
Club Management will adopt a “Neat and Tidy” standard taking into consideration current fashions and reserve the right to refuse entry to any person whose attire does not meet the required standards.
The following guidelines outline examples acceptable and unacceptable items of footwear and clothing, but are not limited to:

– Football shorts, stubbies, board shorts or brief shorts
– Sleeveless shirts
– Swim wear or undergarments as clothing

CONDUCT OF GAMING
WENTY LEAGUES IS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF BETSAFE
To promote the Responsible Service of Gaming, Wenty Leagues has a policy which complies with the various acts of Parliament that apply to the Registered Clubs Industry.This policy will be implemented for the benefit of our members, their guests and the community in general.
The Club encourages responsible practices in advertising and promotions to ensure that the Club is not providing inducements to gamble. Signage to promote Responsible Gaming and where to seek help are posted in the gaming area and also throughout the Club. Wenty Leagues will not under any circumstances provide cash on credit cards or the cashing of cheques.
Members and/or visitors to Wenty Leagues have the right to exclude themselves from the Club. In order to provide support and advice, the Club’s Managers are trained to be a confidential point of contact for the club’s patrons, or the families of patrons, who believe they may have a problem with gambling. Wenty Leagues encourages those patrons who self-exclude to keep in contact with the Club so that the Club can assist wherever possible.
Providing information and training to Club staff on problem gambling is essential.The concept of patron and employee care can help reduce problem gambling in the Club. Staff are trained to ensure discretion in matters involving problem gamblers.

- We will support and actively promote initiatives to minimise Drink Driving in order to safeguard the well-being of our patrons.
- Drinks commonly referred to as a ‘shot’, a ‘shooter’ or a ‘bomb will only be sold from the Clubs main bar “The Café’ and Starlight Bar and will specifically not be served or sold from any bar in a non-restricted or family area, such as Plaza Bar. The only other exception will be for patrons utilising private function rooms.
- The following drinks will not be sold or supplied after 11pm of each trading day:
a) Any drink (commonly referred to as a ‘shot’, a ‘shooter’ or a ‘bomb) that is designed to be consumed rapidly.
b) Any ready to drink (RTD) beverage with an alcohol content greater than 5%.
c) Any drink prepared on the premise that contains more than 30ml of spirit or liquor, other than a cocktail that contains spirit or liquor (or both) mixed with other ingredients and is not designed to be consumed rapidly. - All bars will use tempered glassware where possible to minimise risk of glass related injury.
- A “two alcoholic drink limit” will be applied to all customers after midnight for each trading day
- Cessation of alcohol service 30 minutes prior to close.
- 2.00 am lockout of patrons (non-members).
- Filtered drinking water is always free and available to all guests from all bar outlets whilst the club is open and trading.
- New members may only be signed up BEFORE the following times during the week
– Before 1.00am on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
– Before 2.00am on Friday and Saturday
Wenty Leagues will initiate these practices by:
- Implementing, monitoring and modifying the House Practices on an on-going basis.
- Preventing under-age drinking by insisting on the production of acceptable documentation such as a current photo driver’s licence, passport or proof of age card as detailed in the Australian ID Checking Guide.
- Preventing intoxication by recognising the signs of intoxication and refusing to serve anyone to the point of intoxication. We will deny entry or service to anyone we believe is already intoxicated.
- Promoting the service of non-alcoholic beverages, low alcohol beers and food.
Our responsible serving practices aim to:
- Prevent under-age drinking.
- Prevent intoxication.
- Prevent violent or disruptive behaviour.
- Prevent drink driving.

Wenty Leagues is committed to providing its Members and visitors with a high standard of facilities and services.
The Club expects all members and visitors to dress in an appropriate manner at all times when attending any Club premises.
Club Management will adopt a “Neat and Tidy” standard taking into consideration current fashions and reserve the right to refuse entry to any person whose attire does not meet the required standards.
The following guidelines outline examples acceptable and unacceptable items of footwear and clothing, but are not limited to:

WENTY LEAGUES IS A FOUNDING MEMBER OF BETSAFE
To promote the Responsible Service of Gaming, Wenty Leagues has a policy which complies with the various acts of Parliament that apply to the Registered Clubs Industry.This policy will be implemented for the benefit of our members, their guests and the community in general.
The Club encourages responsible practices in advertising and promotions to ensure that the Club is not providing inducements to gamble. Signage to promote Responsible Gaming and where to seek help are posted in the gaming area and also throughout the Club. Wenty Leagues will not under any circumstances provide cash on credit cards or the cashing of cheques.
Members and/or visitors to Wenty Leagues have the right to exclude themselves from the Club. In order to provide support and advice, the Club’s Managers are trained to be a confidential point of contact for the club’s patrons, or the families of patrons, who believe they may have a problem with gambling. Wenty Leagues encourages those patrons who self-exclude to keep in contact with the Club so that the Club can assist wherever possible.
Providing information and training to Club staff on problem gambling is essential.The concept of patron and employee care can help reduce problem gambling in the Club. Staff are trained to ensure discretion in matters involving problem gamblers.
