Club Industry Domestic Violence Training Program

The team from Wenty Leagues recently participated in the Club Industry Domestic Violence Training Program, hosted by Mounties Group, a key event aimed at equipping clubs and industry leaders with the tools to support those affected by domestic and family violence. The two-day program provided invaluable insight into addressing these critical issues, and offered a unique opportunity to collaborate with other clubs committed to making a tangible difference.

Facilitated by Arely Carrion from Mounties Group, Gabrielle Morrissey of Bloom Boom Consulting, and Michelle Pascoe of Optimum Operating Procedures and Services, the training equipped attendees with the knowledge and practical skills to better understand and respond to the needs of individuals affected by domestic violence. Participants were also introduced to the incredible work being done by various organizations dedicated to combating domestic and family violence, including:

  • StandbyU Foundation
  • No to Violence
  • Centre for Women’s Economic Safety
    …and many others.

Through these powerful partnerships, the program emphasized the importance of collective action increating safer, more supportive communities for all. It was inspiring to see the industry come together in such a meaningful way. Wenty Leagues is proud to be part of a movement focused on providing real help to those in need, and we remain committed to ensuring that support is always available when it’s needed most.

The event marked an important step forward in fostering a united front against domestic violence, with the industry coming together to discuss how best to provide resources, raise awareness, and create safer environments for everyone. As domestic and family violence continues to be a widespread concern, it is initiatives like this that demonstrate the power of collaboration and community action in addressing such an urgent issue.

Wenty Leagues is proud to be part of this ongoing effort and remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote safety, dignity, and respect for all members of the community.
