Supporting & Developing players future aspirations
The Wentworthville United Junior Rugby League Football Club welcomes kids aged 5 years and over. To start, we offer a league tag program for our youngest players. This program allows them to focus on learning basic skills and the important values of teamwork without the worry of tackling. As a result, it provides a gentle introduction to rugby league for both players and parents.
Moving on, our under-7 teams participate in a tackle-ready program. This program prepares players for the contact elements of the game. For those aged 12 and under, teams take part in non-competitive draws. This approach lets players enjoy the game and build their skills before the pressures of winning, losing, and finals begin.
Our under 6- under 11 teams are open to both boys and girls. Additionally, we offer dedicated girls’ teams starting from age 12. Furthermore, the club features a Try Time team, which provides opportunities for kids and adults with special needs or disabilities. This program helps participants enjoy the game while becoming an integral part of the Wenty community.
The club is proud to offer experienced coaches and trainers. Moreover, parents and carers have opportunities to get involved with our teams. Training is provided for new volunteers, while refresher courses are available for others. This helps everyone stay compliant with Parramatta Junior League requirements. As a family club, kids are our focus and priority.
Finally, Wentworthville United JRLFC is committed to safe and fair play for all players and coaching staff. Club personnel always prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every individual involved.
