More Than the Game: Josh Rizk’s Journey Beyond Rugby League

At Wenty, we’re proud of our players for what they achieve on the field but we’re just as proud of the people they are beyond the game.

Wentworthville Magpies Sydney Shield player Josh Rizk is continuing to chase his rugby league dream while building a rewarding career in disability support.

After being introduced to the industry while playing Jersey Flegg, Josh discovered a passion for helping others and has since made it an important part of his life alongside football and working in construction with his father.

Balancing long days and evening training isn’t easy, but Josh says making a difference in people’s lives makes it all worthwhile.

As Josh and the Magpies prepare for this weekend’s Sydney Shield Preliminary Final, we’re incredibly proud to have him representing our club, both as a footballer and as someone dedicated to supporting others.
