Meeting the Heroes Behind the Uniforms at Emergency Services Day

Emergency Services Day brought the community together for a fun-filled day of entertainment, education and hands-on experiences while celebrating the dedicated emergency services personnel who help keep our region safe.

Families and community members enjoyed the opportunity to get up close to emergency service vehicles, meet local emergency services teams and learn more about the important work they do every day. Interactive displays provided valuable insights into safety, emergency preparedness and the vital role these organisations play in supporting the community.

Children and families were entertained with face painting and special appearances by Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, creating memorable experiences for attendees of all ages.

The event provided a unique opportunity for residents to meet emergency services personnel, ask questions and gain a deeper understanding of the services that support the region.

We thank our emergency services partners for their support and participation, as well as everyone who attended and contributed to the event’s success. We look forward to welcoming the community back for another Emergency Services Day next year.
