Sweet Support for Jeans for Genes Day
We’re proud to share the success of our Jeans for Genes Day Cupcake Stall, which raised over $1,000 for the Children’s Medical Research Institute. This fantastic result was made possible by the incredible generosity of our members, patrons, and staff. Everyone came together to support a cause that touches so many lives and inspires hope every single day.
Held as part of the annual Jeans for Genes Day campaign, the event featured a bright and colourful cupcake stall. Each cupcake was lovingly handmade by our talented in-house pastry chef, Chef Olivia, whose creativity made them almost too pretty to eat. The cupcakes were a crowd favourite and brought plenty of smiles across the venue, attracting visitors from all ages and diverse backgrounds.
The response from our community was overwhelming. It was heartwarming to see members, guests, and staff unite for such an important cause. Every purchase and donation supports vital work at the Children’s Medical Research Institute, funding life-changing studies into childhood genetic diseases that affect families nationwide.
To add extra fun, we also hosted a lolly guessing competition and a raffle. These activities added excitement and gave everyone a chance to join in, even if they weren’t after a cupcake.
