Inaugural Amyloidosis Awareness Cup Shines Light on Vital Cause

The inaugural Amyloidosis Awareness Cup took place at T.G. Millner Field on Sunday. The event saw the Mighty Magpies face off against the Ryde-Eastwood Hawks.

The Wenty Leagues board, long-time supporters of the Adam Gardiner Fund, attended the event not only to cheer on the Magpies but also to highlight the importance of raising awareness for amyloidosis, a rare disease that the fund supports.

Before the game, guests enjoyed a delightful pre-game function featuring a variety of delicious foods and engaging speakers. On the field, the Wenty Magpies were victorious, defeating the Hawks 28-18. The game showcased the local talent.
