Appointment of New Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Wenty Leagues is proud to announce the appointment of Stuart Jamieson as Chief Executive Officer, effective 27 March 2026.

Stuart joined the Club in 2019 as part of a succession planning strategy developed by the Board. The intention was to appoint an experienced CEO from a medium-sized club who could support the delivery of the Club’s master plan, strengthen operational and business capability, and ultimately step into the role of CEO.

Since joining, Stuart has played a key role in ensuring the continued operation of the Club with minimal disruption to members throughout an extensive development period within a live venue.

During this time, the Masterplan project was completed which included new multi-level carpark, undercover bowling green, foyer and porte cochère, multiple dining offerings and Wenty Events. Throughout these major works, Stuart and the team have maintained a consistent, high-quality offering for members.

Working closely with builders and the executive team during the Entertainment Hub upgrade, Stuart and the team delivered temporary dining and entertainment facilities to ensure minimal disruption for members and their guests. He has also led the team in delivering the proposal and appointment of Dede’s Waterfront Group to the Club, along with developing exciting options for Level 1, which will be shared with members at the May AGM.
