April/May 2013 Journal Article:

 

Kiama Sat 19 Jan: The weather forecast was for windy conditions and we were not

disappointed. The Skipper from Kiama Charters decided to head North where we

fished the 35 fathom mark. With 10 Fishos aboard, the catch consisted of 61 Mowong,

11  Sweep, 4 Snapper, 11 Pigfish and 1 Flathead.

The biggest bag went to R. Harvey with 15kgs of fish (173.6 pts). The biggest fish went

to S. Gaberial with a 2.42kg Mowong.


Kiama Sun 2 Feb: The weather was unpleasant and with 8 Fishos aboard we fished

from the 65 and 35 fathom mark. The catch comprised of Mowong Leather Jackets

and  assorted reef fish.

The biggest fish went to A. Zammit with a 1.8kg Mowong and the biggest bag went to

J. Romchek with 15kgs of fish (175.63 pts).


Greenwell Point Small Boats: The biggest River fish was caught by B. Mortel, a

1.6 kg Australian Salmon. The biggest Deep Sea Fish was caught by W. Grogan, a

1.2 kg Mowong.


Presentation night for the Wenty Leagues Fishing club was held at Lucido on

Fri 1 Mar. Results for 2012:

Club Champion M. Prestipino 777.10 points

Runner Up A. Harvey 721.69 points

Biggest Bag M. Prestipino 179.00 points

Biggest Fish S. Gaberial 2.16 kgs

Biggest Snapper S. Gaberial 2.13 kgs

Biggest Mowong R. Harvey
